Volleyball Recap: Trinity's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Independence, Trinity was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Richmond Heights Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Monday.

Trinity never let Richmond Heights on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-23.

Trinity's win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-11. As for Richmond Heights, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Trinity will head out to face off against Beachwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richmond Heights, they will venture away from home to take on Cornerstone Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
