It's playoff time, and Triton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays on Wednesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-8 victory back in April.

Drew Bingamon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 17 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Triton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi McFarland, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Triton has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-14.

Coming up, Triton will square off against South Central at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. North Judson-San Pierre does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
