Basketball Recap: Veritas/Tenor Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Veritas/Tenor can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 100-40 to the Milwaukee Bradley Tech Trojans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Veritas/Tenor hasn't had much luck with Milwaukee Bradley Tech recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Milwaukee Bradley Tech was led to victory by Jakari Smith and Montrevion Roby. Smith dropped a double-double with 42 points and 16 boards, while Roby shot 5-for-9 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 assists. Smith is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 11 games he's played. Arvell Lockhart was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 15 points.

Veritas/Tenor's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Milwaukee Bradley Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.

Veritas/Tenor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milwaukee Bradley Tech, they will square off against Racine Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Racine Park's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
