Soccer Recap: South Bend Saint Joseph Comes Up Short

South Bend Saint Joseph had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Lake Central Indians on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Bend Saint Joseph of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Lake Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

South Bend Saint Joseph has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Evansville Memorial on the 23rd. As for Lake Central, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Goshen on the 23rd.
