McDonell Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Cadott Hornets 55-29. Given the Macks' advantage  in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings  (they are ranked 112th, while the Hornets are ranked 259th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Cadott's loss  came despite strong showings from  Tarynn Donahue and  Kennedy Nerdrum.  Donahue  posted ten points and five  steals, while  Nerdrum  scored six  points and seven  rebounds.
McDonell Central has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Cadott, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last ten matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record  this season.
 McDonell Central will welcome Medford  at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday. McDonell Central knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Medford likes a good challenge. As for Cadott, they are taking a road trip to  take on Elk Mound  at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday.
