Softball Recap: Normandy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Normandy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past the Lakewood Rangers 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Invaders have posted since April 22, 2024.

Not much got past Ava Ramirez, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Lakewood off the board.

On the hitting side, Normandy's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lizzie Skidmore, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
