Mother McAuley waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Waubonsie Valley Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mighty Macs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2018.

Buchanan is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Peyton Heatherly, who had six digs, a kill, and a block.
Mother McAuley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season. As for Waubonsie Valley, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-13.
