After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sherman, Man was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the River View Raiders, sneaking past 54-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hillbillies have posted since February 5, 2024.

Man's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for River View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Man won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Van at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Man is facing Van at the right time seeing as Van is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for River View, they are taking a road trip to square off against Summers County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
