Volleyball Game Preview: Loyola Academy Ramblers vs. Marist RedHawks

The Loyola Academy Ramblers will head out to challenge the Marist RedHawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Loyola Academy had taken Saint Ignatius College Prep down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Ramblers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolfpack.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Marist had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Red Raiders.

Loyola Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 15-9. As for Marist, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.

Loyola Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Marist when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ramblers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
