Soccer Recap: Manning Falls Short of Philip Simmons in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manning can now relate to. They came up short against the Philip Simmons Iron Horses on Monday, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Manning can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Philip Simmons are ranked 53rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Manning and nudges their season record down to 2-17. As for Philip Simmons, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-6-1.

As of now, neither Manning nor the Iron Horses have any future games scheduled.
