Refugio barely beat Three Rivers the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Refugio Bobcats blew past the Three Rivers Bulldogs 8-1 on Thursday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
T-Mike Rosas looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Thor Bass was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Carroll, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
The win got Refugio back to even at 2-2-1. As for Three Rivers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
