Basketball Recap: New Auburn Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Turtle Lake, New Auburn was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against the Bruce Red Raiders by the margin of a single free throw, 57-56. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in January.

New Auburn now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bruce, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

New Auburn will challenge Cornell at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. New Auburn is facing Cornell at the right time seeing as Cornell is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bruce, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Flambeau at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
