Softball Recap: Paramus Takes a Loss

Paramus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northern Highlands Highlanders. Spartans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Highlanders since on Tuesday.

Paramus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Northern Highlands, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Paramus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-6 win against Fort Lee on the 9th. As for Northern Highlands, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Ridgewood on the 9th.
