Football Game Preview: Lennard Longhorns vs. West Orange Warriors

The Lennard Longhorns will be playing at home against the West Orange Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lennard is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Lennard is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Bloomingdale 26-0. Considering the Longhorns have won 11 games by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sydney Elizondo produced another solid effort throwing for 192 yards and five touchdowns. Lennard is undefeated when Elizondo posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Lennard didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Oryele Roberts and Stacey Reducindo, who each picked up one interception apiece.

Horizon typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday West Orange proved too difficult a challenge. They never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three contests in a row.

Lennard's record is now 15-2. As for West Orange, their record now sits at 10-5.
