Volleyball Recap: Tindley Tigers vs. Irvington Preparatory Academy
Tindley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Irvington Preparatory Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-18.
Tindley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tindley will head out to face off against Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, they will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Indianapolis Washington at 5:30 p.m. Irvington Preparatory Academy is facing Indianapolis Washington at the right time seeing as Indianapolis Washington is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
