Football Recap: Twiggs County Takes a Loss

Twiggs County extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They took a 28-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Georgia Military College Bulldogs. The Cobras were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

As for Georgia Military College, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.5 points over those games.

Evan Stasney had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 133 yards and two TDs.

Twiggs County has already played their next game, a 42-0 loss against Johnson County on the 3rd. As for Georgia Military College, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 36-18 victory against Glascock County on the 3rd.
