With a playoff win on the line, Spring Creek rose to the challenge on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the North Tahoe Lakers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Spring Creek sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Hunter Heieie and Kasyn Freyensee scored all three of Spring Creek's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Spring Creek's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for North Tahoe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Spring Creek nor North Tahoe have any future games scheduled.
