A Season-Best Effort from Zach Cwalinski Leads Valley View over Delaware Valley
Valley View was led to victory by Zach Cwalinski, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Cwalinski rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards.
The win (which was Valley View's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Cwalinski and Valley View will welcome Wyoming Valley West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Abington Heights got the W thanks in part to Nick Bradley playing the best football he has all season. Bradley rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Abington Heights' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
The win got Abington Heights back to even at 4-4. Bradley and Abington Heights will head out on the road to face off against Scranton on Friday.
