Recap: Rainier Christian Mustangs vs. Concordia Christian Academy Hawks
The Rainier Christian Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 56-11 win over Concordia Christian Academy. That 45 points margin sets a new team best for Rainier Christian this season.
Rainier Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gracie Cushman, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cushman has scored all season. Molly Ramey was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Rainier Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Concordia Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rainier Christian will square off against Crosspoint at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Crosspoint is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. As for Concordia Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Muckleshoot Tribal at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Muckleshoot Tribal has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
