Softball Recap: Wayne County Comes Up Short

Wayne County managed to slip by Russell County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals lost 18-5 to the Lakers on Tuesday.

Wayne County now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Russell County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne County will host Rockcastle County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Russell County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Casey County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
