Basketball Recap: Dawson-Bryant Falls Short of Belpre in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dawson-Bryant can now relate to. The game between them and the Belpre Golden Eagles didn't end well, with the Dawson-Bryant Hornets falling 48-31. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 161st).

Dawson-Bryant has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Belpre, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-7.

Dawson-Bryant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Belpre, they will square off against Whiteoak at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
