Volleyball Recap: Pawnee City Takes a Loss

Pawnee City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Sophie Weber, who had three digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Looking ahead, Pawnee City will look to defend their home court on September 5 against Dorchester. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lewiston on the 28th.
