After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Shore, Humble was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Channelview Falcons 49-21 at home. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Humble got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mcarthur Baker out in front who rushed for 88 yards and four touchdowns.

Humble wouldn't let Channelview keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Humble can thank William Baxter and Patrick Long for forcing both of them. Baxter is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Juan Lolesio was another major factor on D, making 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and snagged an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Humble's record now sits at 4-1. As for Channelview, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Humble will head out on the road to take on Atascocita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Atascocita's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Channelview, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Kingwood at 7:00 p.m.
