Berkeley had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cane Bay Cobras 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Stags have posted against the Cobras since April 3, 2023.

Berkeley pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Cane Bay, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
