Volleyball Recap: Western Wayne Wildcats vs. Abington Heights Comets

Western Wayne managed to slip by Abington Heights the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Comets on Friday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wildcats haven't been shut out since back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-21.

Lauren Beamer paced Western Wayne's offense, picking up ten kills. Beamer got some help from Abbie Washine and her 12 assists. Beamer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Western Wayne now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Abington Heights, the win keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.
