Soccer Recap: Ferndale Takes a Loss

Ferndale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Seaholm Maples, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Ferndale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 406th, while Seaholm are ranked 20th).

Ferndale's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Seaholm, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-2 record this season.

Ferndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seaholm, they will take on Royal Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
