Softball Recap: Quilcene Comes Up Short

Quilcene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to the Orcas Island Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-11 on Saturday.

Quilcene's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Orcas Island, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Quilcene and Orcas Island will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Quilcene is set to challenge their familiar foe Muckleshoot Tribal at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Orcas Island will take on rival Concrete at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
