Softball Recap: Rehobeth Rebels vs. Russell County Warriors
Rehobeth was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Russell County on Monday. The Rebels put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 19-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 back in March.
Alex Cobb was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Cobb was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Rehobeth got a massive performance out of Jessa Buker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Buker a new career-high. Jazzy Andrews also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Rehobeth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Russell County only posted an OBP of .308.
Rehobeth is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-13-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Russell County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
Coming up, Rehobeth will face off against Wicksburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Russell County, they will challenge Pike County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
