The Middletown Islanders will venture away from home to challenge the Wilmington Charter Force at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Middletown can't be too happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season away from home last Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to West Warwick. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Islanders have suffered since October 1, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Wilmington Charter got the win against St. Elizabeth on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Force in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.
