Volleyball Recap: Pine Hills Adventist Starts Season with Win Against Creative Connections Arts Academy

Pine Hills Adventist had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Creative Connections Arts Academy Dragons.

Pine Hills Adventist had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 25-15, 27-25.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Hills Adventist will head out to face off against Sacramento Country Day at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Creative Connections Arts Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Creative Connections Arts Academy is coming into the contest on a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.
