With a playoff win on the line, Jesuit rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 77-28 victory over the Golden Valley Cougars. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Marauders this season.

Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points over those games. As for Golden Valley, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-8.

Looking ahead, Jesuit will take on Lodi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lodi will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Jesuit surely won't give up without a fight. Golden Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
