Baseball Recap: Easley's Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over

Friday just wasn't the day for Easley's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Mauldin Mavericks on Friday. The Green Wave were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mavericks earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Easley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Tolbert, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

The defeat snapped Easley's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-6 record. As for Mauldin, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.
