Verdigris came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Grove Ridgerunners by a score of 7-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 on Monday.

Verdigris' victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Grove, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.
