West Aurora is 3-0 against Elgin since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The West Aurora Blackhawks will venture away from home to challenge the Elgin Maroons at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Aurora has ten straight wins, Elgin has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, West Aurora was able to grind out a solid victory over Downers Grove South, taking the game 68-59.

Meanwhile, Elgin was beaten by Bartlett 55-23 on Thursday.

West Aurora pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Elgin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-22.

Everything came up roses for West Aurora against Elgin in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 64-9 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Aurora since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
