While Sullivan's victory against Vincennes Rivet wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Arrows had just enough and edged out the Patriots 5-3. The Golden Arrows haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Karsen Norris made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Norris was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hunter Mason, who went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI.

Sullivan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in five consecutive games.

Sullivan's record is now 16-3. As for Vincennes Rivet, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-6 record.

Coming up, Sullivan will host Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Golden Arrows' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Vincennes Rivet, they will venture away from home to square off against Northeast Dubois at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jeeps have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
