The Orange Panthers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Southeast Alamance Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Orange is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against South Granville. Orange blew past South Granville 10-1 on Wednesday.

Addison Guentensberger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024.

Tatum Shelton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Shelton was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Ava Wheeley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Anna Thomas was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
