Football Recap: Poteet Comes Up Short

Poteet and Llano squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Poteet had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 49-14 loss at the hands of the Yellowjackets. The Aggies just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Cole Landers went supernova For Llano., rushing for 72 yards and two TDs, while also picking up 34 receiving yards. Brady Kelly was in the mix too, providing the Yellowjackets with two touchdowns.

Poteet's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Llano, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

As of now, neither Poteet nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
