Baseball Recap: Hanks Takes a Loss

Hanks came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Horizon Scorpions by a score of 5-3 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scorpions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Wednesday.

Hanks' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Horizon, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Hanks will square off against Parkland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanks is facing Parkland at the right time seeing as Parkland is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Horizon, they will take on Del Valle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Valle will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Horizon surely won't give up without a fight.
