Basketball Recap: New Egypt Takes a Loss

After flying high against Academy Charter last Thursday, New Egypt came back down to earth. The New Egypt Warriors fell just short of the Nottingham Northstars by a score of 31-28 on Saturday.

New Egypt's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Nottingham, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Egypt will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hightstown at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Nottingham and Bordentown will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
