Baseball Recap: Hardin County Takes a Loss

Hardin County fell victim to Harrisburg and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hardin County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Harrisburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hardin County Cougars face off against Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Carrier Mills-Stonefort has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.6 runs per game on average), something Hardin County will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Harrisburg, they will square off against Pleasant Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Plains will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Harrisburg surely won't give up without a fight.
