Lanier is 8-0-2 against Highlands since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Voks are taking a road trip to face off against the Owls at 7:00 p.m. Lanier's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Meanwhile, Highlands came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Buffaloes get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.

Highlands hit Fox Tech with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ieoshua Vieyra (2), Shester Castillo, and Anderson Galo.

Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 14-8-3. As for Lanier, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1-3 and their overall record down to 13-4-3.
