Basketball Recap: Central Florida Christian Academy Falls to Evans in First Game of Season

Central Florida Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Evans Trojans by a score of 59-56 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexander Dipaolo, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Cambell, who went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points and eight boards.

Coming up, Central Florida Christian Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Dr. Phillips at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Evans, they will be taking part in a tournament against Stranahan at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
