Football Recap: Norte Vista Gets the Win

Norte Vista's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Arroyo Valley Hawks 1-0.

Norte Vista didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Angela Castro.

Norte Vista's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Arroyo Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Norte Vista has already played their next contest, a 13-6 defeat against JW North on the 25th. As for Arroyo Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 57-0 victory against Rim of the World on the 25th.
