Baseball Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short

Warren County suffered their closest loss since March 25, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Coffee County Central Red Raiders by a score of 6-4. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers have struggled against the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Tyler Adams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jerren Harris, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Coffee County Central, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

While Warren County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
