Soccer Game Preview: Lanier vs. Jefferson

The Lanier Voks will challenge the Jefferson Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lanier's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lanier fell victim to Fox Tech and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They blew past Fox Tech 10-3 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Jefferson.

Lanier's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7-3.
