Baseball Recap: Quartz Hill Has No Trouble Against Palmdale

Quartz Hill barely beat Palmdale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Quartz Hill Royals' way against the Palmdale Falcons on Wednesday as the Quartz Hill Royals made off with a 10-0 win. The contest marked the Royals' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Nobody will forget Christopher Lozano's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Palmdale's batters): he turned in a perfect game. The dominant performance also gave Lozano a new career-low in hits (zero).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Parker White, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. Another player making a difference was Jason Uribe, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The win (which was Quartz Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 4-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Palmdale, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Quartz Hill will have a chance to go back-to-back against Palmdale: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
