Xavier came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes 61-37. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Foxes are ranked 266th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
