Football Recap: Plymouth North Takes a Loss

Plymouth North lost against Duxbury back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell 37-27 to the Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Dragons are ranked 20th).

This is the second loss in a row for Plymouth North and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Duxbury, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plymouth North will square off against Marshfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Duxbury, they will face off against Whitman-Hanson Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
