Gulf Breeze came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.8 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Tate Aggies out 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Dolphins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Avril Clark was the driving force of Gulf Breeze's attack as she scored both of Gulf Breeze's goals, bringing her season total up to six goals.

Gulf Breeze's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-1. As for Tate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Gulf Breeze will head out on the road to face off against Pensacola Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
