Volleyball Recap: Panguitch's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Panguitch had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Valley Buffalos. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buffalos, too.

Panguitch walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-12.

Leading Panguitch to victory were Brooklyn Harland and Lainee Sawyer. Harland had 11 digs, while Sawyer had ten digs. Those ten digs gave Sawyer a new career-high.

Panguitch was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in nine consecutive contests.

Panguitch's record is now 9-1. As for Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panguitch will host Pine View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley, they will square off against Water Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
